Japan is currently in the middle of an election. What's strange about politicians in this country? Once the election is over, they forget everything they said in their speeches. It's strange, too, that the public forgets the lies they were lied to and votes for the same people again. They only vote because the popular candidate wins, not because the candidate actually implemented policies. What's more, half of Japanese people aren't voting. A trustworthy half, right? I believe that the fact that half of the population has given up on politics is a matter of the country's survival. When voter turnout drops, organized votes win. It was the Liberal Democratic Party that created 30 lost decades by encouraging people to become indifferent to politics, securing only their own vested interests. The current Takaichi administration is advocating various economic measures, but these are unconvincing coming from a party that has repeatedly failed to implement economic measures for 30 years. And now, a third-party party has emerged. They are the "Participation Party" and "Team Mirai." This is a party that is not bound by preconceived notions and boldly takes on challenges that previous parties have dared not tackle. In this election, the LDP and the Japan Restoration Party will increase their seats, but the Assembly Party and Team Mirai will also likely gain seats. The Assembly Party in particular will likely make great strides. The events up to this point are also evidence that a reorganization and renewal of the political world has begun. By the way, the Assembly Party takes the strictest stance on foreign residency management. If the Assembly Party makes great strides and teams up with the LDP, it could cause some trouble for foreigners. The election results will be announced on February 9, 2026, Japan time. Although Japanese people today do not trust the LDP, they support the Takaichi administration. Therefore, there is a possibility that the LDP will win a moderate election, the Assembly Party will make some gains, and the Assembly Party will keep an eye on the LDP. Anti-espionage laws, crimes of defacing the national flag, etc... Well, I hope that the election results will wake up the Japanese people and the Japanese nation. The question is, who will wake up the Japanese people?
